Successful counselling has been proven to benefit mental health and general wellbeing. It can be a confidential, supportive, non-judgmental place to explore feelings and issues. It can help people develop self-acceptance, understanding, relaxation techniques and ways of coping. Counselling can also help people work towards goals, positive change, improved relationships and a reduction of unhelpful habits and behaviours.
I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I use a variety of techniques and approaches in my work. I tailor my way of working to meet the needs of the person I am working with. The way we work will also depend on what you would like to achieve through therapy.
In addition to one-to-one therapy I also run groups relating to personal growth and working towards our potential.
